Slender frames, exposed joinery and cushions that sit proud of the teak. Formentera is specified where the terrace is private and the furniture is expected to be moved rather than admired.
A pale teak table and a chair light enough to carry in one hand. Formentera is the collection made for houses and hotels, where the same teak chairs will be dragged into the shade and back again all season.
The Formentera lounge runs on teak wheels and folds flat, because a sunbed that follows the shade gets used and one that doesn’t gets photographed. Small decisions like that are the ones a client notices in the second year.
